STEM Academy Students take 3rd place in the Wharton Schools' Data Science Competition

Ojas Wani, Vincent Gao, and Sai Nytla competed in the Wharton School's High School Data Science Competition, beating out over 600 teams from all over the world and achieving third place. They were given a large dataset of over 1000 feature-rich pieces of data on teams from the Professional Women's Hockey League. They cleaned data, created models, and made predictions about who would be the best team in the league and what contributed to that.
