STEM Starry Stories visits Chester County Library
submitted by Ms. Alanna Hibbs, advisor
On Wednesday April 30, two of our 11th grade students, Mihini Gunarathna and Vaishnavi Kalakota, held an hour-long workshop at the Chester County Library in Exton with 5 elementary school children. At this workshop, Mihini and Vaishnavi taught these children the principles of story writing and led a session where each of them then created their own story. The children then shared their stories out to the group and took them home with them. This was an effort led by the STEM Starry Stories Club, which works to promote creative writing skills and improved literacy for K-12 students in our school and across the district.
