The Virtual Welcome Night will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026 beginning at 6:00 pm. All families are invited and encouraged to attend. The STEM Academy Class of 2030 Welcome Night Presentation will be livestreamed using the link below:
Downingtown STEM Academy Class of 2030 Welcome Night
Immediately following the Welcome Night presentation, administration and counseling will be available via Google Meet to answer questions about Course Selection. Links to these sessions will be made available to families through the course selection website: STEM Academy Course Selection. Individual Links on the Course Selection page are also noted below for easy access:

- We encourage families to use this feature to ask questions regarding Course Selection. Questions will be answered and will remain posted for later review.
We hope that all families are able to attend, however if you are unable to attend, please note that the recording of this event will be available to view at a later time.
Course Selection: Next week, the STEM school counselors will be meeting via Google Meet with all students during the school day to discuss course selection.
- DMS: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 and Thursday, February 5, 2026
- LMS: Friday, February 6 and Monday, February 9, 2026
- Non-Public/Make up sessions: Monday, February 10, 2026
Students will be given an individual appointment time during the school day, to meet with our counselors, who will assist them with entering their selections. Our counseling department will also be reaching out to students from non-public schools to begin the scheduling process as well, and will set up the same appointments via Google Meet. Students should not worry about filling out any Infinite Campus schedule requests for the 2026-2027 school year. We have you covered!
Additional Dates to Remember
Spring Open House: Thursday, April 9 from 6:00-7:00 pm
Shadow Day: Students from both middle schools will be invited to attend Shadow Day on the following dates:
Wednesday, April 15, 2026 - LMS
- District transportation will be provided from LMS to STEM and back to LMS.
Friday, May 22, 2026 - DMS
- DMS Students will walk over to STEM with their counselors.
Accordingly, non-public school students will be invited to attend the Shadow Day session that coincides with the side of the district in which they reside.
9th Grade Orientation: Monday, August 17, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 pm All parents and incoming students will be invited to attend orientation. Details will be provided over the summer. Please save the date!
